FROM PERMITTING
This would have been the end of the 3rd Permitting Abeyance that began on 2015 October 30.
The 1st abeyance was to have ended on 2016 February 29, but then Downeast LNG wanted another one.
The 2nd abeyance was to have ended on 2016 June 1, but Downeast LNG again wanted another one.
The 3rd abeyance began on June 2, and supposedly was to end today, September 30.
By 2016 September 30, Downeast LNG would have dragged out its permitting abeyance for nearly a full year.
On 2016 August 17, FERC dismissed long-suffering Downeast LNG from permitting.
