Description: Comments of Normand Laberge on the US Navy position re Tidewalker Associates Application for Preliminary Permit for the Cutler Tidal Power Project under P-12674. WEBMASTER'S COMMENTS: Mr. Laberge argues that — because the project will not be operated by the Navy, and is on U.S. Government property; and because the area contains toxins from the Naval Base, and the Base is polluting the air from its diesel generator — the Department of Defence prohibition against extracting energy from intertidal and submerged lands adjacent to the Cutler Naval Base does not apply. Only the U.S. Government could appreciate that kind of logic.
