WEBMASTER'S COMMENTS: This report was for the period ending on September 24, so it wasn't able to mention that on, or around, September 26, while lobbying in Ottowa, Ontario, Dean Girdis failed to get Member of Parliament and Cabinet Member Greg Thompson and the Canadian Federal Government to allow LNG vessels to transit Head Harbour Passage.

Girdis's failure, for all practical purposes, marks the end of his project — and the Quoddy Bay LNG project — although both developers will probably continue on, and continue to be well paid by their financial backers, continuing to divide the Passamaquoddy Bay area, until reality sets in with the investors.
