Feb 2 | Issued By: ENERGY PROJECTS, OFFICE OF [FERC] Summary: Biweekly Conference Call notes for 2015 January 5. FERC & Downeast LNG are tracking comments in response to the Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement. Bat and lobster survey results are being finalized. There was discussion of natural gas pipeline capacity, direction of flow, and pipeline expansion projects, and how those would impact Downeast LNG's proposed project. The next Conference Call is scheduled for 2015 January 19. Webmaster's comment: FERC is "tracking" comments, but — if FERC follows its standard operating procedure — FERC will not provide any response to those comments until the Draft Environmental Impact Statement is published, years from now, at the last moment, giving the public minimum opportunity to respond to FERC's inappropriate responses. |
