DOWNEAST LNG LP

Filed Date: 12/19/2011
Accession No: 20111219-5131
Description: Supplemental Information of Downeast LNG, Inc., et. al. under CP07-52, et. al..

Summary: Responses to FERC's 2011 Oct 18 Environmental questions are provided; however, several responsess are incomplete, or are non-answer responses.

It is significant to note that the answers to FERC's 14 environmental questions were due on Nov 8. DeLNG did not even indicate to FERC until that deadline that the company would not provide responses until Dec 19 — and even as of Dec 19, DeLNG has still not properly answered the list of questions.

Question 3 — DeLNG indicates it will answer this question by Dec 31;

Question 4 — DeLNG's response is merely a draft version of the requested report;

Question 6 — DeLNG apparently cannot or will not answer;

Question 8 — DeLNG does not provide current data as requested;

Question 10 — Although DeLNG responded completely with this question...

The attached letter from the US Coast Guard confirms that the Coast Guard continues to disallow receiving LNG ships without first obtaining coordination and cooperation from the Government of Canada.

Question 14 — The attached pipeline Noise Sensitive Areas Map [Docket Accession No. 20111219-5131(26724430)] Figure 8 indicates that the pipeline still appears to go beneath the end of a Passamaquoddy-owned island in the Saint Croix River.
