Oct 2 | Filed By: Save Passamaquoddy Bay Summary: Downeast LNG has taken no action in over one week to correct its official Resource Report 1 filing to the docket. In that filing, Downeast LNG reported it intends to regasify a puny 100 standard cubic feet per day of LNG to natural gas — less volume than 5'x5'x5'. Since the applicant has not filed a correction, the 100 standard cubic feet per day must be the correct intended volume. Since the volume of regasified LNG is of insignificant value to US natural gas consumers, Downeast LNG is violating the public interest. Therefore, Save Passamaquoddy Bay petitions FERC to summarily dismiss the Downeast LNG Import Project (Docket No. CP07-52). |
